The recently released Icons of Sci-Fi Toho set is on sale at Amazon for only $13.50. I had been holding off on buying that hoping I’d get it as a birthday or Christmas gift, but at that price I jumped on it. The list price is $25, so that’s nearly half off.
The set contains three movies, including (finally) Mothra, Battle in Outer Space, and the nifty noir monster flick The H-Man. The set got a nice write-up recently in Video Watchdog magazine, and an in-depth review of the set can be found here.
